Cat11x17I can’t tell you how excited I am for my next project, playing Maggie the Cat in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof September 3-13 produced by Two Chairs Theatre Company.

I have been so fortunate to work in musicals…many, many musicals. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is certainly a departure from that pattern and I am thrilled for the chance at a new challenge. What’s more, director Elliott Raines has pulled together a wonderfully strong cast of actors – all of whom I take great pleasure in sharing the stage with.

catjuly08Most people of heard of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, the 1955 Pulitzer Prize winning drama by Tennessee Williams, or have seen the 1958 movie starring Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman. It is a powerful, gripping tale of passion, greed and death with a cast of unforgettable characters. The stage play is dramatically different from the screen version with a twist in the plot that will certainly surprise movie fans.
